Love the bipod. Mounting spigots on each rifle makes for fast changes The challenge is getting more spigots.

I'm in the US. I hunted and reloaded with 6.5x55 for 20 plus years. My deer rifle was a CZ550. I had 3 6.6x55s and sold them all. The 6.5 prc solved all my problems. No longer do I need to reload. I can buy as much ammo as I want online. I shot my Bergara premier approach last week at 425 yards on paper to see what the drop is from a 200 yard zero. I'm shooting 130 grain factory terminal ascent at 3150-3180 fps. The drop was 9 inches...

My first rifle was a abused browning BAR 308 at a flea market $150 it was so rusted the bolt wouldn't open had a fired case in the chamber rusted apart,I bought it cleaned it took it to art Lawson a local gunsmith, That was 1988 I still have it it's a high grade also great deer rifle, and then I have a pair of chiappa 17 hmr revolvers and a Ruger 17 hmr rifle that has killed a lot of hogs

I have the grs berserk. Like it more. Doesn't have the same plastic feel to it. Do you know a way to mount a better bipod on it? It doesnt have a spigot. All I've found is harris bipods to put on the sling stud. Cheers! Thanks for a great channel!

Det er meget godt med vanddunke . Men det er bedre med vildt. Jeg skød i 2023 10 bukke med Sako blade i 6,5 CM . Den er utrolig præcis og det var på afstande fra 80-306 meters afstand . De fleste gik mellem 10og 30 meter efter skud og der var total mangel på schweiss, så jeg er færdig med den patron . Jeg har skudt over 300 bukke og aldrig oplevet lignende. I år prøver jeg med Norma Evo-strike 1010 m/s.

Had the 1782 in 8x57is. It broke the bolt release twice. Anschuetz replaced the entire rifle the second time. The replacement rifle was bitching with screen ammo so I totally lost faith in this brand and replaced it with a Steelaction. Like the 6.5x55se a lot. Have a Roessler Titan 6 chambered for that round. Cheers, Tom

Great buck , how many meters he run ? Two weeks before, I shoot a buck with my 308 ,with Fox bullet 165 grs ,reload myself, just behind the shoulder, the range was 200 meters, and he run 40 meters. I think changing the bullet to 150 grains ,always Fox bullet. Congratulations, a nice buck. My hunt area is the South France

130gn Norma Golden Target are no FMJ 😉 BTHP Matchammo Did Anschütz inlet the GRS Stock to fit there Beddingblock? Or has the GRS not the same Bedding then the Woodstocks? I love my Anschütz 1771 in 223 and think about getting a 1782 as next (Anschütz Triggers are so nice)

I forgot to mention. I like the scope you selected. I’m considering that same optic for a Sauer 202 that I have in 30-06. How do you like the optical clarity and the mechanical adjustment mechanism? Does the quality match up to Zeiss?

Another excellent video Morten! I have the 1782 in classic wood stock in left hand. Mine is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor since that’s more popular here in the USA than the Swede. But as you have already seen, the accuracy is excellent and the recoil is very mild even without a moderator (I’m waiting on papers for mine). I was recently shooting mine at 500 yards and was consistently staying below 1 MOA. I was able to regularly hit the 5 inch steel disc at 500 yards with Hornady factory ammunition with 147 grain ELDM. I really love mine and you clearly love yours since you now have two! Happy hunting and shooting. What game do you intend to use your 6.5 for? And thanks again for providing the English subtitles. Great setup Morten. I'm not a big fan from polymer GRS stocks but i like a fine classic piece of nice wood on a hunting rifle. That's only a matter of taste of coarse. Cheers!

Beautiful country you live in. I hunt/live in PA (USA) and i always prefer the high shoulder or neck vs the heart shot. Not sure how your deer there compare in size to our whitetailed deer but the reactions are the same.

Another excellent video presentation Morten. And again I’m thanking you for the English subtitles, as I don’t speak Dutch. I have the Anschutz 1782 in 6.5CM and am very pleased with it. I know you already have that in .308 Win with the wood stock. So I’m sure you’ll love the GRS stock on your new 6.5 Swede. Another option with the Anschutz 1782 is to buy different barrels in different chamberings. Anschutz now has spare barrels on their website available but currently only in 9.3x62. I understand that additional calibers are forthcoming. Looking forward to seeing your review of your 6.5x55 Swede once you’ve run it in. I enjoy your content here from the USA!
